My personal experience which drove me most to found this organization is one that dates back to the time when I graduated and started working for one of the NPOs in Syria for 2 years as a member of the Japanese version of Peace Corps. Though I wasn't even familiar with NPOs when I started working, I happened to learn both the potential and the issues of these nonprofit organizations.
While I was there, I was lucky to have an opportunity to work for the people who had just temporarily transferred from one of the German business consulting companies as CEO and CFO of the NPO. It was one of the most electrifying experiences in my life to see them sort out the various issues in a very excellent way by involving the whole organization. They were definitely professionals in solving various issues, who understood well the most proper and efficient way to involve people in different sections and let them work as a cross disciplinary team. It was a very impressive time for in which I realized that there should be a huge potential in letting people co-work beyond the boundaries of their field to solve issues.
I believe that these skills could provide a key breakthrough for current Japanese society, where various complicated issues remain unsolved. If there are many people full of passion who can solve issues by co-working with the people in different fields, Japan could one day be the one who takes the initiative in providing solutions for various global issues. We, CROSS FIELDS, declare that we will be of help in this area for a brighter world, an outcome of these activities.
