What We Do

Overseas Transfer Program

This program is mainly for people working in the private sector, which provides opportunities to work in nonprofits of emerging countries for a few weeks or months based on their current work experience.

1) Preliminary training in Japan

3 times over weekends prior to departure, we get together for training in advance in Japan. Here we decide the target of the personal growth during on the job & technology transfer program. After some acquisition of local basic knowledge and overall understanding of the issues that the local NPO has, we set up at our final target in position for business facet and at personal growth target.

Prior to departure, trainees are expect to set up their own action plan and growth target.
 Give presentation of their own plan and target in front of other trainees
 Participate in case study program in English language
 Attend several lectures and training sessions by the first class lecturers in Social Sector

2) Practice on the job training at local NPO

Practical business activity at local NPO is the next main objective.
Here, personal as well as team collective types of programs are customized where the objectives depend upon the needs of business associates and local social sectors.

3) Coaching at local NPO

Once every other week, coaching support will be provided via telephone or face-to-face, reviewing the working process to be revised and negotiating with the local NPO for adjustments if necessary.

4) Workshops targeted at creating new business opportunities

After the presentation at local NPO, during 3 to 5 days prior to the repatriation, trainees participate in a new business program targeted at BOP market in the developing countries involving field level work practices and the development of a business plan. After returning home, trainees are expected to make presentation of their plans.

5) Following Job Training in Japan

After returning home to Japan, on a weekend one month later, we get together to review the activities at the local NPO. We compare predetermined targets against real activities, and exchange views over the ways to feed back and revitalize the activities in future programs. We will also provide further opportunities for trainees to give presentations to their reporting line on overall results of the program and the future target in the current organization.
